I wonder, too, if there are even deeper problems lurking here. Yes, as Mr. Hunter argues, an appeal waiver is unenforceable when a defendant seeks to appeal a sentence that represents a “miscarriage of justice.” And, yes, to resolve today's case, that is all we need decide. But, as the Court recognizes, appeal waivers may raise other problems as well. See ante, at 723, n. 3. Consider just a couple of them.
